– Turn the pile regularly to aerate it and facilitate decomposition.
– Within six months to one year, you’ll have dark, crumbly compost ready to use in your garden.

b) Vermicomposting:
– Vermicomposting utilizes earthworms’ natural ability to break down organic matter quickly.
– Purchase a worm bin specifically designed for vermicomposting or build your own using plastic containers with proper ventilation.
– Add bedding material like shredded newspaper or coconut coir along with food scraps.

– Single-stream recycling simplifies the process by allowing all recyclable materials (paper, plastic, glass, metal) to be placed in one bin without sorting them individually.

b) Plastic Recycling:
– Different types of plastics have varying recyclability. Look for resin identification codes (also known as recycle symbols) on plastic containers.
– Commonly recycled plastics include PET (polyethylene terephthalate), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LDPE (low-density polyethylene), and PP (polypropylene).
– Avoid mixing different types of plastics together unless specified by your local recycling facility.

c) Paper Recycling:
– Recycle paper products like newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes, office paper, etc., which can save trees and reduce energy consumption compared to producing new paper from virgin sources.

d) Glass Recycling:
