This additional filtration step ensures a more desirable water quality for various applications.

It is important to note that the filtration and purification requirements may vary depending on the intended use of harvested rainwater. For non-potable uses like irrigation or toilet flushing, less stringent treatment processes may suffice. However, when considering rainwater as a drinking water source, it is crucial to implement comprehensive filtration and purification systems to meet recognized standards set by regulatory bodies.
