2. Coffee Agroforestry (Costa Rica):
In Costa Rica’s coffee production regions, farmers have adopted agroforestry practices where coffee plants grow under the shade provided by taller native tree species. This system improves coffee quality, protects against extreme temperatures, and conserves water resources.

3. The Great Green Wall (Africa):
The Great Green Wall initiative aims to combat desertification in the Sahel region of Africa by planting a wide belt of trees across multiple countries. This project not only helps restore degraded lands but also provides opportunities for local communities to generate income through sustainable agroforestry practices.
