Hempcrete is a bio-composite material made from the woody core fibers of industrial hemp mixed with lime-based binder materials such as lime putty or hydraulic lime. This mixture forms lightweight but strong blocks that can be used for wall construction.

Hempcrete has excellent insulating properties, breathability, and moisture regulation capabilities which contribute to healthier indoor environments. It also sequesters carbon dioxide during its curing process making it an environmentally friendly choice.
