3. These turbines are typically larger than their onshore counterparts and require specialized engineering techniques for installation due to harsh marine conditions.

4. Small-Scale Wind Turbines: Small-scale wind turbines are designed for residential or commercial use in urban or rural settings with limited space availability or lower average wind speeds compared to open fields or coastlines. These smaller turbines usually produce less electricity but can still contribute significantly to reducing reliance on traditional grid-powered electricity.

5.Vertical-Axis Sail-Type Wind Turbines: This unique design resembles sails on a boat mast rather than traditional turbine blades attached to a central hub. These systems utilize aerodynamic lift principles similar to sailboats by capturing the force exerted by moving air across specially shaped surfaces called “sails.”

Each type of wind turbine has its advantages and disadvantages, depending on factors such as location, wind speed, available space, and energy requirements.
