Distillation Systems boil the contaminated liquid causing steam which gets collected in another container while the contaminants get left behind. This method is effective at removing nearly all impurities but it can be energy-intensive and may not be accessible in many parts of the world.
When choosing a water filtration system, it’s important to consider your specific needs. Some systems are better suited for certain types of contaminants than others. For example, if you’re concerned about chlorine or other chemicals in your water, an activated carbon filter may be the best choice. If you live in an area with hard tap-water then Reverse Osmosis Filters would be ideal as they remove dissolved solids like sodium or nitrates which makes it ideal for areas with hard tap-water.

RO filters tend to have higher up-front costs but require less frequent replacement while Ceramic Filters are relatively cheap but need regular cleaning and maintenance.
In addition to these traditional methods of filtering water there are now newer innovations coming into play like UV Light treatment which uses ultraviolet light waves to kill bacteria and viruses making them ineffective reducing their presence in drinking water ensuring cleaner drinking water without using chemicals like chlorine or iodine
Another new innovation is Water Ionizers that use electrolysis to split incoming molecules into acidic and alkaline ions creating two streams one clean (alkaline) stream that is consumed while the other acidic stream can be used for cleaning agents around the house
