1) Use as mulch around trees/shrubs/plants: Spread a layer of compost around the base of plants to help retain moisture while suppressing weeds.
2) Mix into soil: Add 3-4 inches of finished product into garden beds or pots before planting new crops/seeds.
3) Make liquid fertilizer: Steep 2 cups of finished compost in five gallons of water for several days. Strain and use the resultant liquid to feed plants.
4) Topdress lawns: Spread a thin layer of compost over grass to help improve soil health.
